Speaking Science to Business

Share how your business is building resilience

Approximately 8–10 minutes · All businesses welcome · Showcase your work on a site reaching 100,000 unique visitors monthly

Why share your experience?

You’ve taken action to build resilience. Get your work recognised -and show other businesses what’s possible.

Submit your case study for the opportunity to feature in a curated collection of practical responses to climate and nature risks. The Business Resilience Hub sits on the Global Climate Risk Platform, which attracts 100,000 unique visitors each month, offering a platform to raise your business’s profile and demonstrate how you are preparing for a changing world.

Whether you’ve protected your people, kept operations running or secured essential supplies, your experience could set an example for others. You don’t need to be the biggest business to have a valuable story.

Case studies are selected and developed by the Nature and Climate Impact Team at the University of Exeter Business School. If yours is chosen, we’ll prepare the draft for you and send it for approval before publication—making it straightforward to turn your experience into a story others can learn from.

Why share your experience?

What we’re looking for

Show how your business is building resilience—and give others a practical example to follow.

Share an action you’ve implemented or are testing, such as protecting premises from flooding, keeping staff safe in extreme heat, securing water supplies or preparing for supplier and power disruptions.

Small-business examples are especially welcome. A simple, affordable solution can make a compelling case study-and an opportunity to put your business’s resourcefulness and expertise in the spotlight. No large budget or polished report needed.

You don’t need final results to contribute. Share what you’ve achieved so far, distinguishing measured outcomes from expected benefits. Challenges and lessons learned make your experience more useful to others.

What we’re looking for

Submit your case study

Tell us the risk, what you did, the results so far and what others could learn. Examples can cover any of the Hub’s seven business functions. Early findings and lessons from challenges are welcome, alongside supporting evidence or links.

We review submissions for inclusion and send selected case studies to you for approval before publication.
