Amanda Williams is an Associate Professor in the Department of Strategy & Organization at emlyon business school and Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Exeter Business School. Her research lies at the intersection of sustainability management and social-ecological systems. She studies how organisations understand global sustainability issues and develop corporate sustainability strategies that align with planetary boundaries. She approaches her work from a systems theory perspective and uses qualitative research methods such as ethnography and field research.
